IRRELEVANT By Arthur Veloso ’29 Mr. Irrelevant who was last pick of the draft Just trying to make his NFL contract last Flew above all of the critics And almost achieved our goal of winning the Superbowl From Iowa state came to make our team great Mr. Irrelevant who threw a dime every single time No matter the pressure he was able to reassure that we would win Whenever he throws it is perfection He looks like a young reflexion of the greats Unfortunately our run was stopped at the finish line Which lead our team into a decline Mr. Irrelevant who was not able to repeat that same magic In fact our season was rather tragic Bottom of the NFC West Feels as though we have coalesced with bottom Though it is not all your fault These injuries took us to a full halt Mr. Irrelevant who will bounce back And attack next season with all his might Even though as some may mope I still find hope that we will win 56
