Little Inklings 2024
A winding road littered with cars A forest with lots of mystery, a trail not for you A change in the leaves A change not yet due The sun shining through Just not a sun for you The rain not of fame Yet you enjoy it, but not without shame As the rain drizzles, tickling your skin All the other kids hide within Shame floods through As the sun laughs at you Inside feeling wrong But some sparks growing strong Like a seed falling into weeds, an itchy start Yet it turns into something with so much heart AN UNBOUND JOURNEY By: Jacob Rotherberg ’29 96
