Sofie Gheen ’29 carry her while lugging a suitcase that’s super light but still only slightly shorter than her. I reluctantly begin walking next to her at a normal pace, which matches hers perfectly. I press my lips together to disguise the fact that my traitorous lips are curling up at the corners and make my eyes mad. I have a good glare, the kind that bores into you. The kind you can still sense when your back is turned. At this point, wemeet, and all my plans go down the drain. I hug them back and sigh. Even though I’m mad at them, I still love them. They’re only trying to do what they think is best for me. And who knows? Maybe for once they’re right. 77
