As the sun rises dawn breaks through Flowers bloom Sleep fades away So does the moon Things change everywhere but not too soon Don’t grieve when things leave There are many new things for you to achieve Right will come if you believe Like the dancing waves of the ocean bring new tide You just have to go on with the ride Life is a journey everchanging Though sometimes it is draining Waves crashing on the rock Obstacles meant for the wave to stop The wave goes on through as if it was not there At the end of the day dusk arrives You close your eyes and rest Then once again the dawn resets THE JOURNEY OF LIFE By Esha Nagalla ’29 14
