Little Inklings 2022

I fell to the ground shouting her name, pulling her body into my arms, putting pressure on the wound like my life depended on it. I cradled her in my arms, calling for help. I look down at her again to tell her it’s okay, that she will be okay, that we will be okay now with tears streaming down my face. She then put her hand to my face cupping my face and said, “I love you more than you know; thank you for everything.” Then her face crumbled with pain as she took one last breath, her hand falling lifeless in my lap, her body becoming heavy and lifeless. I shook her body as hard as I could, screaming her name, my heart as heavy as a block of concrete in my chest. Police then started running in surrounding me, yelling at me to put my hands up and behind my head. But I didn’t; instead, I just looked down at the girl I love, dead in my arms. Then I looked up and saw them all surrounding me, but I still felt alone, lonely so I kissed her on the cheek one last time and said, “I love you more than anything, I will see you again my love.” Then I put my hands behind my head and turned myself in. Then I heard clapping around me, from the police officers. They are applauding us for the great acting of this scene. SEE YOU AGAIN 57
