She’s a monster! Her hair is made of snakes! She’ll turn you to stone if you dare look at her and she’s a self-absorbed monster!” She was too stunned to speak. She whispered “That’s not true.” “Speak up” he said. “She screamed “That’s not true!” and ran back to the Parthenon. She cried to Medusa and told her about everything that happened. Medusa took a deep breath and said “It’s true, Braillete.” Her heart stopped. She was heartbroken she vowed to not fall in love, but she did and to a monster at that. She was overcome with emotion and didn’t know how to handle it. Medusa hugged Braillete and gave her a kiss. Braillete felt bitter sweet. She said that she had to leave and go back to her town and continue to be the hero people needed her to be. As Braillete was walking back she came across an “old woman”. But, you see, in fact this was no old woman, but Loki in disguise. The “old woman” said “You seem tired dear, here have a bowl of porridge. Not wanting to be rude to the supposedly “old woman” she took it. You see this was no ordinary porridge. Loki had given Braillete that porridge to reverse her blindness, so that she could no longer hang out with Medusa.
