THE ORIGIN OF GRANTA WHO’S THE WRITER? THE STORY When Granta realized people were dying because of the way they worship her, she gave Gondo one last trip to the overworld. He told Brahma, Shiva, and Vishnu the more they forbade people worshiping the Granta Spirit, the less people would like them. The whole point of them killing her was to limit her power but they were doing the opposite. Brahma, Shiva, and Vishnu gave up. They realized that their doings made her even more powerful. They made a separate religion that worshiped her. Grantism. Grantism is still celebrated today. Granta is a main inspiration for art. There are sculptures of her all around India.
