RYAN VINOCUR ❜ 28 Julie was sitting in Sky Cave, her cave that was on the tallest mountain. She was visualizing being an actual goddess, as she did everyday. Julie wished she could do something to please the gods, rather than messing everything up when her powers went out of control. Julie had the power to manipulate glass. She sighed and went back to making a mini replica of the world. Perhaps if I show the gods what I can make, they’ll accept me as a goddess! Julie thought. Her parents were both unknown, but they were gods. She did have all the qualities of gods, though. The Celestial Bureaucracy just didn’t trust her. Just then, there was the sound of footsteps. Julie got up and went to check on the entrance to her cave, and got a pleasant surprise. The leader of the Celestial Bureaucracy was standing at her cave entrance. “To what do I owe this honor?” Julie asked, bowing. “The other members of the Celestial Bureaucracy and I have decided that we will give you an assignment that will decide if you can become a goddess,” he said. Julie gasped with excitement. She could already think of numerous things to do. “We want something beautiful, and rare on Earth,” he continued. Julie nodded, and in a second, the leader was gone.
