Echoes of Love and Laughter Michael Kong ’25 The tennis court would shine beneath the sun, With every serve, you’d cheer and guide my hand. Your laughter brightened each game we won, A bond that only we could understand. In the kitchen, we baked side by side, Sharing stories between spoonfuls of dough. Flour dusting the air like a gentle tide, You’d let me stir the batter, thick and slow. We’d walk through the gardens, picking blossoms with care, Your wisdom bloomed flowers at my feet. Now only memories are planted there, But in my heart, your love remains complete. Though you are gone, your warmth will never fade, A light within me, shining unafraid. 40
