insane, I did not need a virus or a trip to the dreaded vet. I started to realize though that this was actually a good thing. We started traveling, and I got to see that there was a whole world outside of my little Coral Gables bubble. Suddenly my captor started to become my friend. We helped each other in ways we didn’t even know we needed. My old life kept me sheltered, and this new life of travel was scary at first, but at the same time thrilling. I learned that sometimes there is more to life, and you just have to be open to new experiences. I Want to Leave Pippa Yeo ’27 28
