You could listen to the seafoam of the coast for hours & play tag with the waves, never getting tired of the thrill It’s a snowy white feather you find, the taste of strawberry lem - onade in the summer, & a familiar blue sweater that feels like a gentle hug it’s softly humming the song you memorized far too long ago hoping someone out there hears, what you aren’t saying. It’s the old stuffed animal you can’t seem to part with a childhood friend whose number you know by heart but can’t bring yourself to dial.
