Inklings 2023

Nobody helps the nest falling off the tree. They’d rather ignore it, unknowingly hurting what we call home. It can be almost terrifying to see. The world is hurting, and nobody is seeing, no effort to stop the oil and gas production that keeps on destroying and destroying our homes. So many bloodlines, so many families that is are being lost by the ignorant people who wouldn’t help a cat off a tree. We need to cut back carbon, and give back to the world. We are suffering, yet nobody seems to care that the world is in severe danger, but it is not hard to see. There are so many people who would rather play video games than sit by a tree and enjoy the environment that we won’t have for much longer, if we don’t stop production. Production that could be stopped, if we stood like a family against climate change, like we are protecting our homes. Nothing will ever feel like home if we cannot stop our terrible deeds against the world. If we cannot stop climate change, our descendants will have no fam- ily. We know about it, but people pretend not to see. Money-hungry investors want to keep producing fossil fuels for their economic benefits, but they will destroy all the trees. If we cannot stop this war against ourselves, against our world, and we cannot stand as a family, and if we cannot see the damage that the production of fossil fuels is harmful, we will have no trees to sit under, and in the end, no family. 11
