Inklings 2022

People said it would last for just a day, That whatever came our way, Would soon take its leave Exit the population's memory. It was said to be some sort of "bad cold" Nothing too much to worry about. Right? Well that day turned into a week. A week isn't all that bad, right? Ok, we are gonna be alone, But it shouldn't be that bad. Now that my schedule isn't tight, I could stay up all night, And catch a breath well-deserved Well that week came and left, And it turned into a month. All we need to do is stay safe, not touch the face That way, this "one day" virus, much deadlier than last time People were starting to die, but came and left with no reply It was just another month, and with safety measures, We are going to wait until everything is better, As it would soon be OK.
