Jeff Rubin , see Scott Tornek ’83 1983 Class Agent: Bill Bailey ( bill@baileyrealestateconsulting.com ) Bill Bailey writes, “Fortunately, we made it through the last two years! School was interrupted for the kids, and my business went from 60 to 0! This year is poised to be good on all fronts. One son, Charles, has fully relocated to NYC where he is a core programmer for an algorithmic trading company, Hudson River Trading. My other son is getting a master’s degree in econom- ics from Cambridge. My wife and I, as empty-nesters, are becoming active in the Tropical Audubon Society by going on birding field trips (and doing main- tenance/planting there!). We’ve become interested in propagating plants and growing plants from seeds, and my wife has a book club. We are very grateful these days. See pic (below) of what we look like now…” Steve Christie says, “I am now a very old, old man. Despite ‘the virus that shall not be named,’ we feel very blessed. Our oldest two kids got married this past year (not to each other…). Another graduat- ing college, one graduating high school and another in the ninth grade. My wife and I both practice radiology in the Miami area. With a little luck, we hope to become grandparents in the next year or two. My kids love me, usually. My wife tolerates me, occasionally. My dog hates me, always.” See photo below. Scott Greenwald writes, “As it seems to be the norm, I am also happily married for 28 years to my wife Amy. We are empty-nesters, still living in Pinecrest, not far from where many of us grew up. Both my kids graduated from Ransom Everglades, then from Tulane. Jonathan ’13 went on to Georgetown Law and is now living in NYC, working for the Urban Justice Center after spend- ing a year with the Attorney General’s office. In these crazy times, he has never gone into an office, working remotely at both. Lexi ’16 returned to New Orleans after moving back home during COVID and is pursuing her art ambitions work- ing in a studio in New Orleans. As for work, I am still developing real estate in South Florida. I have recently enjoyed tailgating next to Andy and Evan at Dolphin games and also caught up with Bill over lunch. Hope everyone is doing well!” Andrew Herron writes, “Paula and I have been married 29 years this March and are now empty nesters. I have two daughters: Sam graduated from Swarthmore in 2018 and is now a teacher/librarian at a prep school in Philly; Maddie graduated from the University of Maryland in 2021 and is a nanny in Philly. We are tuition-free at the moment! I have been practicing law in Miami (commercial litigation, banking, bankruptcy) since 1990. After 13 years at the law firm I started in 2005, we merged back into the Homer Bonner firm and ‘got the band back
