2019 CONSCIENCE

Ransom Robots Ransom Everglades’ Robotics Teams, who participate in both VEX and Battle Bots, have had a stellar year full of accomplishments. These teams, lead by faculty sponsor Mr. Dubard, participated in various competitions throughout the school year, having competed in six tournaments, not including States or Worlds, in which they also took part. At each event in which Ransom Everglades participated, two especially dedicated members ran the kept scoring tables and the skills field. In the spirit of such tournaments, the robotics teams also paired up with Science National Honor Society to host two events of their own: Roboslam, held at the upper school, and a VEX IQ event at the middle school. These events are especially prominent in the Ransom Everglades community not only for the impressive technological prowess of its teams, but for the community service opportunities available to students A winning year for Ransom Everglades robotics.
