Little Inklings 2020-21

42 The Pr ison Five months had passed since the King finished building his prison. The walls were dark and black, yet regal and gorgeous. The inside was made impossible to escape from with ridiculous measures having been made. The prison was specially made for a murderer. He was running about wildly and the King?s most loyal servants and nobles were going missing. D.W.T.K was left marking almost every alleyway. And although he hadn?t known what it meant, it still infuriated him. The prison was large and impenetrable with a small bit of bulletproof glass. The King had wanted to allow people to see the murderer as he sat there helplessly chained up, unable to harm anyone else. Some civilians had not liked the prison, for it was being built near their houses and it blocked the view of the sun. The king hadn?t cared; he had wanted everyone to see the prison in all of its glory. The prison must have scared the murderer for the kills and kidnappings had stopped. Though D.W.T.K seemed to be popping up more and more often. But whatever it meant, it hadn?t mattered. Not to the king. He had wanted the prison to hold all of the kingdom?s tyrants. He had wanted everyone to be terrified of the prison. Riots had begun to break out about a month before the prison finished. People hated it. And the king hadn?t known why. But he had not wanted to know. He had just wanted the prison to stay. He had wanted the people who went into the prison to never come out the same.
