Little Inklings 2020-21

34 Dear 2020, This is my goodbye letter to you, just know that no matter what, I?ll miss you. I wouldn?t say you were the best year. You brought lots of bad things along with you, which isn?t part of the deal. You could?ve at least chosen one. Even though you brought a virus, fires, shootings, deaths, and protests. You also brought families closer. You made them realize that out of everything, family is always the most important. You made life hard, the hardest of all was losing contact with some friends because of social distancing and quarantine, but of course, I made new ones. No expected you to bring such essential protests on such a bad year, the danger and risk everyone was in was very high, yet it was vital for people to protest because these things can?t be ignored. From all of the terror you put us through, I became better, I realized so many things. I learned. I appreciated it. I loved it. I laughed. I hated it. I changed. Most importantly, I grew. I grew to like sailing more, and I learned how to suture. I read so much. I don?t remember my goals for you, but I can say, you didn?t accomplish them.
