I must sell a few hats today, sir.? ?I will buy your whole stock.? ?Gee, thanks, mister!?the girl exclaims. The man buys the hats, and the little girl makes her way home per his request. She puts her hat back on as she skips over the hills. When her mother tells her to go to the same village the next day, the girl loses her way and never finds her route back to the man, neither old nor young.
