A Summer for STEM Ransom Everglades students spent their summers working in labs, internships, and other science-based programs. By Sofia Andrade Susana Diez ‘19 and Leo Ratzan ‘19 share their work in STEM-focused internships this summer. What did you do this summer? Diez: An internship at Universidad CES’ Hospital Centro de Veterinaria y Zootecnia (Center of Veterinary Sciences and Zootechnics), from June 25th-August 17th, in Medellín, Colombia. Ratzan: An internship at JJ Vance Memorial Summer Program from June 18th-August 10th at the John P. Hussman Institute for Human Genomics.
